So I've decided to make a journal entry for whatever reason. It's a bit after 2 AM and I'm wide awake, so why the hell not?

I posted the few cosplay pics of this year that I have and those seemed to grab more attention than my drawings, haha.

I'm drawing a helluva lot more this year, especially since I've been on this site for THREE YEARS and I've hardly done a damn thing on it. Since I'm taking drawing seriously for once (srs biznus), I am finally fooling around with PhotoShop and damn...it's a bit overwhelming, especially when I'm reading Tutorials and they're telling me to do things and I don't understand what I'm doing! Grah!

I tried doing linear today, and that proved to be very difficult with a mouse with my ever-so shaky hands. It's going to be a looong road ahead of me with PhotoShop. I can't afford a tablet and I probably wouldn't have much time with it until next summer anyway because of college, so it's just best for me to learn how to work with the mouse and do the best that I can. It's going to be safe to assume that it may take me a month to finish my first coloring, especially since I have to learn the basics. Ah well... Such is the road ahead of me when it comes to improving my drawing skills.

I really need to draw more often and I should take advantage of that this week since classes start next Tuesday. I should get another drawing or two in by then.

I feel kinda pathetic because I can only draw with references, but I need the references to improve and to get a sense of what I can and want to do in the future, so I just have to accept that.

Anywaaay... This has been a pretty long journal for no one to read it. XD I just figured that I should mark my progress with this journal so I can look back on it as I progress.

I believe my next journal will be on the history of Bunny, Lainface, and Bear, though I may simply reserve that for the deviations. Aaah...who knows?

Hope goes towards my improved drawing, my improved inking, and learning how to effn' color in PhotoShop! In the words of Hard Gay...FUUUUU~!
